We are a housing developer based in the East Midlands who specialise in quality, bespoke builds, tailored for those that are looking for that unique finish.
We were formed by a family of builders with a combined experience of over 80 years in the industry, working for some of the biggest developers in the Midlands.
Throughout our time in the industry, we felt customers were often looking for that something different that would allow them to contribute their own ideas and input into the building process, ensuring the end result was a home that they'd created.
We believe that no matter what size of house, location, or budget, everyone should be entitled to the highest standards of service and build quality.

Meet the team behind Spinney Homes
Shaun Robinson
Director
Shaun is a 25 year veteran of the house building industry and has lead the way on all of the Spinney Homes projects since we began. He has a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating bespoke quality homes. After a decorated career in local football, Shaun is finally making the transition to golf although his twin daughters may have something to say about how much time he’ll get to practice!
Steve Sargent
Director
Steve is a Chartered Accountant with over 35 years experience in various finance roles and has handled our finance, planning and legal matters since we started in 2014. As well as holding board positions for some of the UK's top companies, Steve could now answer any questions you have about drainage designs, planting schemes and how to dispute incorrect utility bills, he is that versatile! Steve is also an avid Leicester City fan and enjoys a glass of good quality wine, just as long as it’s red.
Mitch Robinson
Director
Mitch has recently passed 30 years in the construction trade with most of that time spent building new homes alongside Shaun. With their Dad retiring from the Spinney team in 2019, and his son Keiron joining us as an apprentice, he is now officially the old man on site. Mitch's football and kickboxing days are behind him but you’ll find him on the terraces at the King Power for most match days.
Matt King
Director
Matt's background lies in the IT industry with over 20 years experience running his own company and working in other Director roles. His step into the house building industry has been an exciting challenge, although the guys decided against inviting him to join the onsite team after experiencing his tea making skills. Matt is a running nut who is a third of the way through completing the 6 major marathons of the world.
